BLINDSIDE | The Great Depression
I’m still frustrated by how tricky it is to find albums in NZ stores of a band that’s worked its way to mainstream airplay, has a ferocious fan base, and actually makes really great music.
A couple of years ago I made the greatest purchase one could make with $6: their 2002 release, Silence. Missing Blindside’s 2004 release, I got back on board with their latest, The Great
Depression. Complete with trademark weird timing, Swedish screams and funky photos, this album will surely join the ranks of Silence on my shelf. Good luck finding a copy.
